Stainless steel, no tip, 32 oz bowl. This is a good size that I used for a food bowl.As I will detail in a later post, because JayDee inhales her food, I had to find a way to slow her down.

Stainless steel, no tip, 64 oz bowl. This is a good size that I used for a water bowl. Over the course of several years, I found that the rubber ring surrounding the bottom of the bowl, became a dirt trap so I replaced this bowl with:

DuraPet Stainless Steel Non-Skid Bowls. I bought the 40oz bowl and the non-skid aspect is totally non-skid. One filling lasts JayDee all day, and the quality of the bowl is such that it should last forever. I bought this from DrsFosterSmith.com and the advertizement say Last-forever stainless steel!

Allen’s spring action scooper by Four Paws. Initially I found this to be fantastic. I hope this does not constitute that I am anal retentive!

As detailed in a later post - Housetraining, this device did not last too long. When it broke, I replaced it with a Petco Claw Scooper, and that lasted 12 months.

Next, I replaced that with a 2 piece Petco Scoop and Spade which is made of varnished wood handles and aluminum working ends. This lasted 2 years, by which time the wooden handles were showing considerable weathering. Unfortunately, this device could not weather being run over by one of our house guests who tried to use her backup vehicle camera to incorrectly negotiate our driveway exit.

Flexrate 57A Small Scoop and Spade Set with 36-inch AlumiLite Handles. Since this scoop and spade are all aluminum, I anticipate that the weathering problem will not be a problem.
