Toys to Consider - Part 2

Tennis balls solid core 2-pack by Spot Ethical Pet Products. The problem with tennis balls was that JayDee would chew off the fuzz. I don’t suppose that digestively that should be a concern, but I cannot see any benefit to it. Noncoated rubber balls seem to be superior.

Nylabone – small flexible - chicken flavor. JayDee never took to this and I finally threw it away.

I’ve tried a number of long-term chew items that were successful so I was wary of purchasing another Nylabone product. But once JayDee was full grown, I took a “flier” on a Nylabone Durachew that has a chicken flavor. I found it live at Wal*Mart, but it is also available online at Amazon.  JayDee took to it immediately and enjoyed it day after day. This turned out to be such a winner that I bought a second one to leave in my study so that when I invite JayDee to join me to “watch the news” she has something to distract her from the dismal news of the day! Maybe I need to get a Nylabone for myself.
